Syrian megastar, Assala Nasri and Egyptian superstar Ahmed Saad have teamed up for "Zai Zaman," a new collaborative single released Wednesday on YouTube and digital platforms.
It is by the lyrics of Ahmed Ibrahim and composed by Mohamed El Syad.
This is not the first collaboration between the two artists. Nasri and Saad previously collaborated on the 2024 song "Sabb Farhety," written by Mohamed Shafei and composed by Saad.
The collaboration is one of the most prominent musical duets expected in the coming period and is expected to become an instant hit upon its release.
Born on May 15, 1969, Assala Mostafa Hatem Nasri, known as Assala, is one of the best female singers in the Middle East.
She made her music debut with the 1991 album “Law Ta’rafou”.
The album featured four songs in the oriental operatic tarab style and was an instant hit with heartbreaking songs like “Ya Sabra Yana” and “Samehtak Ketir”.
Nasri quickly proved her presence in a growing industry brimming with new, young talent such as Saber Rebai, Angham, and Abdelmajeed Abdullah.
