Production has begun on Egyptian actress Asmaa Galal, Aly Kassem, and Taha Desouky's new TV series.
TVision banner, the production company behind the series, announced the news on social media.
The post featured a photo of the series’ clapperboard, unveiling the series launched filming under the working title, "Faqrat Al Saher".
The drama consists of 8 episodes and hails from director Tamer Mohsen and scriptwriter Eyad Saleh.
"Faqrat Al Saher" marks the second collaboration between Galal and Kassem after the 2023 TV series “Al Harsha Al Saba” and is set to stream on Yango Play platform sometime in 2024.
Galal, born on May 22, 1995, made her acting debut in the 2017 TV series "The Godfather S1".
That same year, she starred in the TV series "Kalabsh S1", "Zel El Raees", and "La Totfe' Al Shams"
Her TV credits also include "Mamlaket Eblis S1 and S2", "Luebat Al-Nesyan", "Hekayat Banat S4 and S5", "Khali Balek Men Zizi", and "El Harsha El Sabaa".
