Asmaa Galal Not to Participate in Ramadan 2026

Egyptian actress Asmaa Galal will not participate in the Ramadan 2026 drama marathon.

Over the past years, Galal participated in Ramadan with the hit TV series "Ashghal Shaqa".

Season one of "Ashghal Shaqa" screened during the first half of the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon.

Season 1 of "Ashghal Shaqa" also stars Hesham Maged, Sherine, Salwa Mohammad Ali, Mohamed Mahmoud, Rahma Ahmed Farag, Moustafa Gharieb, and more.

Khaled Diab directed the series from a script he co-wrote with Sherine Diab.

The plot revolves around a forensic pathologist Hamdy and TV presenter Yasmine having twins and soon discovering they can't handle things all by themselves.

They decided to hire a maid, a decision that proved to create more problems than they expected.

The show was renewed for season two in April 2024.

Season 2 of "Ashghal Shaqa" featured the return of the main cast as well as cameo appearances by Aya Samaha, Nahed El Sebai, Nesreen Amin, and more.

The show was renewed for season 3 in August 2025.

Galal, born on May 22, 1995, made her acting debut in the 2017 TV series "The Godfather S1".

That same year, she starred in the TV series "Kalabsh S1", "Zel El Raees", and "La Totfe' Al Shams"

Her TV credits also include "MamlaketOver the past years,Over the past years, Eblis S1 and S2", "Luebat Al-Nesyan", "Hekayat Banat S4 and S5", "Khali Balek Men Zizi", and "El Harsha El Sabaa".
