Egyptian singer-actress Asma Abulyazeid took to Instagram to share the first formal photos from her wedding to fitness trainer Mohamed Khatib.
The newlyweds tied the knot in an intimate affair at the iconic monument Citadel of Saladin amid the attendee of their families on Saturday.

The couple signed the ‘aqd qiran’ — an Islamic marriage contract that is considered an integral part of an Islamic marriage and outlines the rights and responsibilities of the groom and bride or other parties involved in marriage proceedings under Shariah — in a ceremony limited to their families and friends.
The starry guests who were present included the Head of the Syndicate of Acting Professions Ashraf Zaki, Gilan Alaa, and Tamer Farag.

In May, Abulyazeid and Khatib got engaged in a cozy ceremony.
Abulyazeid broke the news on Instagram, sharing several photos from the engagement ceremony, and captioned: "💕💍 12/5/2023."
Abulyazeid, born on July 10, 1990, has liked acting since young, but could not act in her school because there was no school theater, which was made available in college.
She studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts and participated in a large number of theatrical performances that were displayed at the Hanager Theater and competed for the Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi Award for Best Theater Show in 2016.
Abulyazeid drew attention through her performance of Toka in the TV series "Hadha Almasa" (This Evening) in 2017.
Her TV credits also include "Touba" (2022), "Al Ekhteyar 2: Regal El Zel" (2021), "El Ansaa Farah" (2019), Hogan" (2019), "Zodiac" (2019), "Layali Eugenie" (2018), and "'Ana shahira ... 'ana alkhayin" (2017).
Abulyazeid is also known for her roles in films such as "El Daawa Ammah" (2022),"Laylat Amar 14"(2022), "Mousa" (2021), "30 March" (2021), "El Kowayeseen" (2018), and "Hadha almasa'" (2017).
Along with her acting career, Abulyazeid participated in the band "Bahjja" and presented several monologues in several concerts.
