Egyptian actress Asma Abulyazeid will reunite with actor Ahmed Hatem in the film "Qasr El Basha”.
The cast also includes Hussein Fahmy, Ahmed Fahim, Sedky Sakhr, and more.
The pic is scripted by Mohamed Nayer, directed by Muhammad Bakir, and produced by Hisham Abdel-Khaleq and Alaa Lashin.
They are also collaborating on the film “Ashek".
“Ashek” also includes Mohsen Mohiedine, Karim Kassem, and more.
It features Hatem as an addiction medicine physician who falls in love with an addicted woman (Abulyazeid). They get married and face many problems.
The film is scripted by Mahmoud Zahran and directed by Amro Salah.
It marks the second collaboration between Hatem and Abulyazeid after the 2021 star-studded film “Qamar 14” (Full Moon).
It also starred Khaled El Nabawy, Shereen Reda, Ghada Adel, Arfa Abdel Rassoul, Asma Abulyazeid, Ahmed Bedier, Ahmed Malek, Bayoumi Fouad, May El Ghety, Yasmin Raeis, Ahmed El Fishawy, and others.
It is penned by Mahmoud Zahran and directed by Hadi El Bagoury.
The film takes place on a lunar night where the societal beliefs that kill love are unveiled through five different love stories.
Abulyazeid, born on July 10, 1990, has liked acting since young, but could not act in her school because there was no school theater, which became available in college, where she studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts.
She participated in a large number of theatrical performances that were displayed at the Hanager Theater and competed for the Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi Award for Best Theater Show in 2016.
In 2017, Abulyazeid drew attention through her performance as Toka in the TV series "Hadha Almasa" (This Evening).
Her TV credits also include "Touba" (2022), "Al Ekhteyar 2: Regal El Zel" (2021), "El Ansaa Farah" (2019), Hogan" (2019), "Zodiac" (2019), "Layali Eugenie" (2018), and "'Ana shahira ... 'ana alkhayin" (2017).
