Arwa Gouda Shares Photos from Italy Wedding

Egyptian actress Arwa Gouda celebrated Valentine’s Day with photos from her wedding ceremony in Italy.

Gouda and her husband Italian-French businessman John Battist tied the knot in Sorrento, a popular, scenic town perched on cliffs overlooking the Bay of Naples in Southern Italy's Campania region, on September 26, 2025.

The ceremony was a low-key private affair limited to the couple's friends and family, who gathered to celebrate the wedding according to Italian traditions.

"You’re my happily ever after ♥️💋💍🧿" she captioned a post.

In a second post, Gouda penned in Italian-language "Amore mio ..t’amo e t’amero 💖💍🧿," — which translates to "My love ..I love you and I will love you 💖💍🧿".

"I want to dance with you forever 🌟♥️💋," she wrote in a third post.

Gouda had previously revealed that she wanted to hold two weddings, the first in Italy and the second in Egypt.

"The wedding that will be held in Italy will be limited to approximately 40 to 50 people only, " she told the “On Set” program.

The couple held their second wedding in Egypt on November 30. The starry guests who were present included Yasser Galal, Gihan El Shamashergy, and more.

On January 21, Gouda and Battist signed the aqd qiran in a low-key ceremony limited to their family and friends.

Aqd qiran is an Islamic marriage contract that is considered an integral part of an Islamic marriage and outlines the rights and responsibilities of the groom and bride or other parties involved in marriage proceedings under Shariah.

The actress took to Instagram to share photos and videos from the ceremony.

The couple got engaged last year before Gouda's father died on June 23, 2023.
