Egyptian actress Arwa Gouda signed Tuesday the aqd qiran to an Italian-French businessman in a low-key ceremony limited to their family and friends.
Aqd qiran is an Islamic marriage contract that is considered an integral part of an Islamic marriage and outlines the rights and responsibilities of the groom and bride or other parties involved in marriage proceedings under Shariah.
The actress took to Instagram to share photos and videos from the ceremony.

Gouda got announced her engagement last year before her father's death on June 23, 2023.
She previously shared she will celebrate her wedding in three different countries, saying: “I love weddings, and I will have my wedding in Egypt for my mother, family and close friends, in Italy for my husband’s family, and in France because my fiancé has friends, and there is a possibility that we will hold it in Saudi Arabia in the Al-Ula region.”

Born on September 27, 1979, Gouda started her career as a Model at the age of 13 after winning the "Best Model of the World" 2004/2005 title in Turkey which finally launched her acting career.
Soon after, the Nefertiti looking Arwa Gouda became a popular actress known for her vast range of characters, her gravity and most of all her genuine performance.
She made her break out of being typecast as a beautiful young damsel when she played the role of a heroine addict in director Amr Salama's first big screen movie "Zay El Naharda" (On a Day Like Today), which then landed her in getting harder and more challenging roles such as "Safeya" in director Sherif Arafa's movie "El Gezira 2" (The Island 2).
