On Tuesday, Art D'Égypte Foundation organized a press conference, announcing the details of the third edition of the iconic annual "Forever Is Now" at the Pyramids.
The event will be organized under the patronage of the Ministries of Tourism and Antiquities, and Foreign Affairs, in addition to the Egyptian National Committee for UNESCO, and the "Kultebrivatore - Art D'Égypte" foundation.
Abdel Ghaffar kicked off the event by delivering a brief overview of the success of the previous editions. More than 1 million visitors toured the previous two editions of the exhibition, hundreds of international outlets and local reports reviewed the event, and more than 3 million engagements on social media.
"I am delighted to launch the third edition of the exhibition 'Forever Is Now,' which is one of the most important and prominent artistic projects in the journey of the 'Art D'Égypte' foundation.
It has received significant interest from various cultural institutions working to support the fields of arts and culture in Egypt, by presenting a sustainable and stimulating cultural development vision," said Abdel Ghaffar.
She highlighted: "Egypt has witnessed a state of cultural and artistic activity in recent years and is moving clearly towards promoting this vital sector for the revitalization of Egyptian tourism."
The event will see the participation of 14 artists from various countries like Egypt, Greece, US, UAE, KSA, Bahrain, the Netherlands, Brazil, and Argentina.
Moreover, another exhibition will be organized on the sidelines of "Forever Is Now" at Saladin Citaddle and it will be dedicated to Arab artists.
Also, the International Arts District event will be organized by the foundation to create an effective platform for Egyptian and Arab artists, and it will see the participation of various independent galleries in Cairo.
Ambassador Omar Salim, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Cultural Relations, Nadine Abdel Ghaffar, founder of "Art D'Égypte," and a number of artists, gallery coordinators, and cultural figures participated at the event.
Ambassador Omar Salim, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Cultural Relations, reflected the third edition proves the success of the exhibition, highlighting that the exhibited artworks are inspired by the historical site, so they represent the harmony between the past and present.
He emphasized that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs supports arts and culture as they are part of Egypt's soft power resources and they help in bringing people and countries closer together.
The third edition of "Forever Is Now," will take place from October 26 to November 18, 2023.
