Armenian Prime Minister (PM) and his accompanying high-level delegation visited The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) on Wednesday.
They were received by Ahmed Ghoneim, Managing Executive Director of NMEC, who gave them an overview about the unique location of the museum, its history as well as its cultural and societal role.
Accompanied by Said aboul Fadel, curator of the museum, the visitors toured the Central Exhibition Halls, Egyptian Textiles Hall, and the Royal Mummies Hall.
He gave him a full explanation of the museum's holdings and the sequence of the different historical eras of the displayed artifacts, from prehistoric times to the current era.
On his part, Armenian PM expressed his admiration for the significant artifacts, especially those in the main hall.
At the end of the tour, Armenian PM was keen to record a word in the guests' book.
