Armenia will celebrate Museum Night on May 16, with numerous museums across the country opening their doors to visitors until late in the evening. The event will feature a variety of cultural and artistic activities, making it one of Armenia’s most anticipated annual celebrations.
This year's Museum Night will include art exhibitions, concerts, theatrical performances, and educational workshops, alongside the permanent collections of the museums.
At the History Museum of Armenia, permanent exhibitions like “Armenia in the 20th Century” and “The Armenian Republic: Struggle and Revival” will be accessible to the public once again.
The National Gallery of Armenia will host a visual musical performance featuring the Tchaikovsky Youth Orchestra, while the Komitas Museum-Institute will present concerts inspired by Armenian musical heritage, as well as temporary exhibitions and educational programs.
The Aram Khachaturian Museum is organizing musical evenings and film screenings. Meanwhile, the Martiros Saryan House-Museum will feature open-air artistic activities accompanied by jazz and classical music performances.
For literature lovers, the Hovhannes Tumanyan Museum will offer theatrical performances, art exhibitions, and musical events. The Yeghishe Charents Museum of Literature and Arts has planned interactive games, concerts, and stage performances.
