As the fourth quarter of the year is fast approaching, Ariana Grande is already looking ahead to 2026.
In a cryptic Instagram video posted Wednesday, the pop star has teased her next new venture.
The teaser, which draws inspiration from sci-fi films, features Grande’s hand trembles as she tries to tap on a screen reading, “A corrupt file has been found and corrected.”
The footage then cuts to the following text: “See you next year … Announcement loading …”.
The Grammy winner didn’t give any further information about what she’s teasing in the video, but fans can surmise that it has something to do with her seventh album "Eternal Sunshine" as she shared the clip in a joint post with her Brighter Days Instagram account.
The sci-fi visual also matches the aesthetic of parts of Grande’s "Eternal Sunshine: Brighter Days Ahead" short film, which was released in April along with the deluxe version of the album.
Beyond those clues, it’s hard to say what Grande might be teasing — but it’s very possible that she’s gearing up to announce a run of live shows for "Eternal Sunshine".

While the “twilight zone” singer previously said that she didn’t see herself touring in the foreseeable future, she did recently reveal that she was “working on a plan to sing for you all next year.”
“even if it’s just for a little,” she added in a July post. “very silly of you all to assume that just because i have my hands full with many things that i plan to abandon singing & music … !!! it is and has always been my lifeline. there will need to be room made for all of it.”
Originally released in March 2024, "Eternal Sunshine" spawned two No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100: “Yes, And?” and “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love).” Ranking for three weeks total atop the Billboard 200, "Eternal Sunshine" got a second life earlier this year with a deluxe edition released a few months after the November premiere of Wicked.
