Arab Parliament Speaker Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi congratulated Egypt's leadership, government, parliament and people on the anniversary of the 23 July Revolution, wishing the country continued security, stability and prosperity.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Al Yamahi described the revolution as a defining moment in Egypt's modern history, saying it laid the foundations for national independence and strengthened state institutions.
He also praised Egypt's continued progress under President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, saying the country's efforts to advance development and maintain stability have reinforced its regional role.
Al Yamahi said Egypt remains a cornerstone of Arab national security and continues to play a vital role in supporting Arab causes and promoting joint Arab action. He wished the country continued progress and prosperity.
