Apple TV has dropped the official trailer for the TV adaptation of "Lucky," based on the book by Marissa Stapley.

"Lucky" stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Drew Starkey, Aunjanue Ellis Taylor, Annette Bening, Timothy Olyphant, Clifton Collins Jr., and William Fictner.

Taylor-Joy, who also serves as executive producer on the series, stars as con artist Lucky, who is forced to go on the run when a multi-million-dollar heist goes sideways. Pursued by both the FBI and a ruthless crime boss (Bening), Lucky must fight for her life — and a way out.

The trailer shows Lucky Armstrong (Taylor-Joy) has been brought up in a criminal life by her father, played by Olyphant. We then see an explosive scene followed by Lucky being chased by law enforcement led by her mother-in-law (Bening).

Hailing from Apple Studios, "Lucky" is co-showrun, written and executive produced by Jonathan Tropper (Apple TV+’s See and upcoming Your Friends & Neighbors) through his Tropper Ink banner and under his overall deal with Apple TV, alongside co-showrunner Cassie Pappas (Apple TV+’s Silo).

The series is executive produced by Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter for Hello Sunshine.

Taylor-Joy executive produces through her production banner Ladykiller. Jonathan Van Tulleken will direct several episodes, including the pilot, and serve as executive producer.

"Lucky" premieres globally on Apple TV with the first two episodes on Wednesday, July 15, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through August 19. Check out the trailer below.
