The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities is organizing a number of temporary exhibitions at various museums under the theme of "Life and Nile."
The selected museums are the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, the Coptic Museum, and the Museum of Islamic Arts.
The exhibitions target showcasing the value of the Nile throughout different eras of Egypt from Ancient Egypt to the Islamic era.
Mo'men Othman, the Director of the Sector of Museums at the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, said that this is the first time for the three museums, revealing that each museum has a dedicated hall for displaying the selected artifacts.
Othman pointed out that the exhibition will last until October 3, and many workshops will be organized to discuss the history of crafts and industries that are based on the Nile, mainly potteries.
On his side, Abdel Halim Ali, the General Manager of Tahrir's Egyptian Museum, said that the exhibition includes various collections of artifacts that express the value of the Nile to Egyptians and the concepts related to it.
