David Robert MitchellDavid Robert Mitchell’s upcoming sci-fi project "Flowervale Street", starring Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor, has been delayed by a month.

The movie has moved up a month, now opening on August 14, 2026, against the original March 13, 2026 release date.

Warner Bros believes that the movie will work as a commercial feature and has “snapped up a better date to take advantage of last-minute summer audiences.”

A logline or any plot details of "Flowervale Street" are kept tightly under wraps.

The premise of two parents and their children in a sci-fi world sounds exciting.

Though the movie, also starring Maisy Stella and Christian Convery, is described as a “thrill-ride,” shot on IMAX. Mitchell directs the movie from his own original script.

When the movie was nothing but an untitled project starring McGregor and Hathaway, the audience began to speculate what the movie could be about.

At some point, the idea of dinosaurs being featured in the title was created on the internet. Unfortunately, that won't be the case.

In an interview with Collider, McGregor discarded the idea, revealing, "Well, I don't know where they're getting dinosaurs from. That may or may not be the case. But no, I like [David Robert] very much, this film director, and I like very much the idea of working with Anne Hathaway.”

He further went on to divulge that Hathaway and himself will be playing parents, “I've got a feeling that I think the two of us as parents will be… Yeah, I'm trying not to say anything. I've spoiled that part. We're both parents. It's gonna be fun, I think. It's difficult to say more about it without saying anything about it. I think you've got to take everything with a pinch of salt that you read online at the moment, you know what I mean?".

Hathaway has a slew of exciting projects lined up including "The Odyssey", "Mother Mary", "Paper Tiger", "The Devil Wears Prada 2", and more.

McGregor will be next seen in features like "The Cow", "Everest", and more.
