Anna Kendrick and Seth Rogen are in talks to star in the Los Angeles-set contemporary comedy drama “Babies.”
Written and directed by Lauren Miller Rogen, “Babies” is an ensemble comedy drama about the journey to parenthood.
The official logline for the film reads: "Struggling with the decision of whether or not to bring a child into the world, Annie (Kendrick) and her husband Aaron (Rogen) become instant co-parents when their newly-divorced friend moves into their home with her 3-year-old."
Principal photography is set to begin this November in Los Angeles.
AGC Studios and Monarch Media will co-finance and produce the movie alongside Lylas Pictures.
Lylas Pictures’ Miller Rogen and Jen W. Ray, AGC Studios’ chairman and CEO Stuart Ford, and Monarch’s partner and CEO Steve Barnett will produce, with AGC’s Miguel A. Palos, Jr. and Zach Garrett, Monarch’s Alan Powell and Vicky Patel and Lylas’ Sophie Høegh serving as executive producers.
