Antiquities Minister Khaled Anani met on Monday with Japanese Ambassador Masaki Noke, discussing ways of boosting bilateral cooperation in the archaeological field especially in the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM).
The meeting touched on the development in GEM's construction works to be opened by the fourth quarter of 2020.
Noke stressed his country's keenness on completing such a great project which represents one of the fruitful outcomes of cooperation between Egypt and Japan.
