For The First Time… Egyptian Art Exhibition in Expo

An art exhibition in the Egyptian pavilion will be held at Expo 2022 for the first time.

CLEG Art Gallery holds a group exhibition at the Egyptian Pavilion at EXPO 2020. The participants of the exhibition are a number of senior contemporary Egyptian artists and young artists for oil painting, pastel, charcoal, and sculpture from Saturday 19 to 29 March 2022. It will be under the auspices of the Egyptian Embassy in the UAE in Abu Dhabi.

The exhibition, starts from 10AM to 10 PM daily, will witness the participation of 28 artists; including Ahmed Dafraway, Ahmed Badawy, Islam Rihani, Islam Najdi, Ihab Lotfy, George Bahgory, Tasneem Al-Mashad, Jihan Fawzy, Hassan Al-Sharq, Khaled Al-Samahi, Dina Fadel, Dina Fahmy, Rasha Ghalib, Rafqi Al-Razzaz, Samar Kamel, Abdulaziz Al-Jundi, Alaa Abu Al-Hamad, Omar Abdel Zaher, Farida Darwish, Karim Abdel Malak, Reda Abdel Salam, Omar Al-Fayoumi, Clay Qassem, Mohsen Abu Al-Azm, Muhammad Al-Damarawi, Ahmed Al-Dafrawi, Ahmed Badawi, Murad Darwish - Maram Abdel-Mughni, and Wajih Yassa.

It is characterized by the persity of its paintings in terms of style, subjects and techniques used to suit all tastes, where each artist has their own unique style in drawing.

The CLEG Art Gallery that adopts the premise art has expressed since ancient times the identity of the human being, and in the belief that the ancient Egyptian civilization had a pioneering role in arts.

In the modern era, art still has a primary role in promoting the artistic and cultural sense to develop the public taste in society and promote it.
