Egyptian actor Amr Saad is teaming up with director Hussein El Menbawy on his next TV series.
In the series, Saad presents the comedy genre and collaborates with Mohamed Anwar.
The untitled project is set to debut on the VOD platform sometime in 2026.
Principal photography is underway.

Saad made his last appearance on the small screen in the TV series "Efrag".
Ahmed Khaled Mousa directs the series from a script by Naser Abd Elrahman. Cedars Art Production (Sabbah Brothers) is the studio behind the drama.
The official logline for the series reads: "After 15 years behind bars, Abbas El Rayyes walks free—stained with the blood of his family. With his cousin’s help, he seeks redemption, only to confront a world far darker than his prison cell."
Along with Saad, the cast also stars Tara Emad, Nahed Elsebai, Hatem Salah, Abdulaziz Makhyoon, Samaa Ibrahem, Mohsen Mansour, Gehad Hossam El Din, Ahmed Abdelhamid, Omar El Saeed, Donia Maher, Alaa Morsy, Passant Shawky, and more.
"Efrag" is set to screen on the MBC Group and Shahid during the Ramadan 2026 drama marathon. Check the trailer for the series below.
