Amr Diab Unveils New Track "Metghayar"

Megastar, Amr Diab has unveiled “Metghayar” a new track from his upcoming album “Ana Gheir”.

 

The new track marks the fifth track to be unveiled from the album, following “Tehayark”, “Youm Talat”, “Bahebo,” and “Ana Gheir.”

 

In this new album — produced by Nay production Company— Diab cooperated with a prominent group of songwriters and prominent composers including, Hamid El Shaeri, Ahmed Al-Malki, Mohamed Rahim, Saber Kamal, Amir Teima, and Islam Zaki.

 

He had cooperated with poets Ahmed Marzouk and Mohamed Al-Qayati for the first time.

 

The 57 –year-old megastar had launched last year his latest released album “Kol Hayaty”, which featured 13 songs.

 

Moreover, Amr is preparing to drop a new track called "Awal Youm fi El Baad", which is written by Ahmed Al Malki and composed by Mohamadi.

 

On the other hand, the megastar is set to perform a private concert live in El Gouna resort town in the Red Sea government on Thursday, September 26, in conjunction with the third edition of El Gouna Film Festival (GFF).

Diab, born on October 11, 1961, is an Egyptian multi-award-winning pop singer-songwriter.

He has created his own style, which is often termed “Mediterranean Music”, a blend of Western and Egyptian rhythms.

 

The 57-year-old became the first Arabic artist to start making high-tech music videos by 1992.

 

He won the World Music Award for best-selling Middle Eastern Artist seven times between 1998 and 2014.

 

“El-Hadaba” was also ranked in the top slot on iTunes when his 2013 and 2014 albums were released.

 

Moreover, Guinness World Records listed the singer as the” top Arab award-winning musician” and the “best-selling Middle Eastern musician” since 1989.

 

Diab has produced a new concept of Mediterranean music, especially with his international hit song “Nour El Ain”.

 

Diab’s fame in the entertainment industry has led him to experiment with other forms of media, such as filmmaking.

 

Amr co-starred in three movies “El Afareet”, “Ice Cream in Gleam”, and “Dahk Wa Laab”.
