Amr Diab took to his social media accounts to promote for his new single "Tehayark" from his forthcoming album “Ana Gheir”.

Amr fans flooded the comments section after he announced the new track with "Number one" and "The best voice in the world".

"Tehayark" marks the fourth single from the new album, following “Youm Talat”, “Bahebo,” and “Ana Gheir.”

In this album — produced by Nay production Company— Diab cooperated with a prominent group of songwriters and prominent composers including, Hamid El Shaeri, Ahmed Al-Malki, Mohamed Rahim, Saber Kamal, Amir Teima, Nader Abdullah, Mohammady, Khaled Tag El Din, and Islam Zaki.

He also cooperated with poet Ahmed Marzouk for the first time.

In 2018, Diab had launched his last released album “Kol Hayaty” , which features 13 songs.

Diab, born on October 11, 1961, is an Egyptian multi-award-winning pop singer-songwriter.

He has created his own style, which is often termed “Mediterranean Music”, a blend of Western and Egyptian rhythms.

The 57-year-old became the first Arabic artist to start making high-tech music videos by 1992.

He won the World Music Award for best-selling Middle Eastern Artist seven times between 1998 and 2014.

“El-Hadaba” was also ranked in the top slot on iTunes when his 2013 and 2014 albums were released.

Moreover, Guinness World Records listed the singer as the” top Arab award-winning musician” and the “best-selling Middle Eastern musician” since 1989.

Furthermore, David Cooper and Kevin Dawe refer to his music as “the new breed of Mediterranean music”.

Diab has produced a new concept of Mediterranean music, especially with his international hit, “Nour El Ain”, according to author Michael Frishkopf.

Diab's fame in the entertainment industry has led him to experiment with other forms of media, such as filmmaking.

Amr co-starred in three films “El Afareet”, “Ice Cream in Gleam”, and “Dahk Wa Laab”.

Amr played as himself in his first film, “El Afareet” — released in 1989 — co-starring prominent Egyptian actress, Madiha Kamel.

In 1992, he co-starred in his second film “Ice Cream in Gleam”, which was chosen as one of the best five Egyptian musical films by the “UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television”.

His third film “Dahk Wa Laab” came out in 1993, co-starring international Egyptian star Omar Sharif and prominent Egyptian actress Yousra.

Despite the films’ success, Diab did not experience the same level of success in acting as he had with his music.

He has focused on his singing career since 1993.
