Egyptian actor Amr Abdul Gelil has recently joined the cast of the TV series "Al Saraya Al Safra" from director Joseph Nabil.
The cast also includes Wafaa Amer, Ehab Fahmy, Sarah Salama, Menna Arafa, and more.
"Al Saraya Al Safra" is set to screen during the Ramadan 2026 drama marathon.
Moreover, Abdul Gelil is also participating in the drama marathon with actor Essam Omar's TV series "Ein Sehrya".
The drama — also starring Bassem Samra — hails from director Al Sadeer Massoud and scriptwriter Hisham Hilal.
Abdul Gelil participated last Ramadan with the TV series "Al-Ghawi".
The cast also includes Ahmed Mekky, Aïcha Ben Ahmed, Ahmed Bedier, Ahmed Kamal, Mohamed Lotfy, Walaa El Sherif, Karam Gaber, Hager Afifi, Abyusif, Tamer Shaltot, and more.
Ahmed Saleh directs the series from a script by Tarek El Kashef and Mahmoud Radwan. Synergy Production Company is the studio behind the drama.
The series consists of 15 episodes and witnesses Mekky stepping away from the comedy hit TV series “Al-Kabir Awy.”

Born on February 7, 1963, Abdul Gelil began his acting career in the 1986 play "El Bulldozer".
In 1990, he made his feature debut in the acclaimed director Youssef Chahin's movie "Alexandria Kman Wa Kaman," which is one of the most important roles of his life.
Despite his strong start, he booked small roles for a long time.
The turning point in his career was in 2007, when he starred in Youssef Chahine's last movie "Chaos", followed by Khaled Youssef's "Hena Maisara".
The next year, he collaborated with Youssef for the second time in his 2009 movie "Dokan Shehata".
In 2010, he landed his first major role in a feature in the film "Kalemni Shokran," collaborating with Youssef for the third time.
