Amir Karara, Menna Shalaby, and Ahmed Fahmy are attached to star in the film "Normandy", set for a 2026 release.
Peter Mimi directs from a script by Hisham Hilal.
Mostafa Gharieb, Ahmed Dash, and Pamela El Kik will also star in the pic.
Principal photography is set to commence next October, with shooting taking place between Egypt and Europe.
The plot revolves around a betrayal amidst a group of criminals and swindlers while searching for a diamond vault aboard the Normandy in France.

The plot, along with the Normandy cast and creative team, raises the possibility that the film could be a sequel to the blockbuster "Casablanca," which achieved great success upon its premiere in 2019 and is currently ranked one of the highest-grossing films at the domestic box office.
Hailed from director Peter Mimi and scriptwriter Hisham Hilal, the film was shot in Marrakech, Casablanca, Safaga, and Alexandria.
The pic stars Amir Karara, Ghada Adel, Amr Abdel Gelil, Eyad Nassar, Halit Ergenç, Lebleba, Mahmoud El-Bezzawy, Ahmed Dash, and Ahmed Fahmy.
"Casablanca" follows three Alexandrian men who work as pirates. They get involved in a dangerous mission against mafia men, after robbing a large diamond shipment, but things take a turn for the worse as one of them decides to go rogue and flee to Morocco.
