American director Neil Burger made a tour in the Egyptian Media Production City (EMPC) after he finished shooting the scenes of his latest movie in Cairo and Giza.

The city provided all facilities, digital services, and the necessary permits for making the film. Produced by the American company Miramax, the movie was shot in different areas and tourist attractions in Egypt, including the Pyramids area, Khan El Khalili, Zamalek, Cairo International Airport, and Downtown Cairo.

The American delegation also visited Dolby Atmos studio and expressed its utmost admiration for its technical capabilities and modern equipment.

Burger is a TV director, writer, and producer. In 2021, he wrote and directed Voyagers, starring Colin Farrell, Tye Sheridan, and Lily-Rose Depp.

The filmmaker is known for The Upside (2017), Divergent (2014), Limitless (2011), and The Illusionist (2006).

"I know the movies that I've liked, and I know the experience that they've given me, so the goal is always to try to create a movie that I would like myself and that would knock me out, challenge me or intrigue me in some way," he said of his love for the film industry. "That's been my criteria for figuring out what I want to do, or also when I'm writing something or creating a scene."
