Amazon Prime Video has acquired the U.S. rights to American Hip-hop icon Jennifer Lopez's action rom-com movie "Shotgun Wedding".

It also stars Josh Duhamel, Jennifer Coolidge, Sonia Braga, Cheech Marin, Selena Tan, Callie Hernandez, and Lenny Kravitz.

Duhamel replaced Armie Hammer, who had previously replaced Ryan Reynolds in the role of groom.

The movie is directed by Jason Moore and written by Liz Meriwether and Mark Hammer.

“Shotgun Wedding” revolves around a couple gathering their lovable but very opinionated families for the ultimate destination wedding, and as they begin to get cold feet, suddenly, everyone’s lives are in danger when the entire party is taken, hostage.

Lionsgate, the studio behind the picture, originally intended for a June 29 theatrical release in the United States.

Lopez was last seen in “Marry Me“, starring Owen Wilson.
