Amal Maher Releases Single "Khabar Aagel"

Egyptian superstar, Amal Maher released Monday her new single "Khabar Aagel" on YouTube and digital music platforms.

It is by the lyrics Ayman Bahgat Kamar and composed by Madian.

"Khabar Aagel" features on her new album "Haga Gher" and consists of 10 songs.

In the new album, she collaborates with a large number of poets and composers, including Nader Abd Allah, Mohamed Mohamady, Ahmad Elmalky, Midian, and more‎.

Born on February 19, 1985, Maher began singing as a child by presenting songs by iconic singer Umm Kulthum.

She was discovered at the age of fifteen and enrolled at the Conservatory of Arabic Music to begin her singing career.

The acclaimed singer soon met composer Mohamed Diae, whom she eventually married and became the father of her son, Omar. She filed for divorce a year later.

She recorded her first song in 2006 and received the support of Egyptian music icon Ammar El Sherei, who she considers to be her spiritual father.

In June 2021, Maher quit music following the death of her close-knit aunt and calling off her engagement, but later on, she backtracked from her decision and presented her first concert in Al-Alamein on July 29, 2022.
