Amal Maher Gets Married — Report

Egyptian superstar Amal Maher got married to businessman Ali Mahgoub in a low-key ceremony limited to their family and friends.

Journalist ‎Rabei Huneidi shared the news on Tuesday on social media alongside photos of the newlyweds.

The couple are currently on their honeymoon in the city of love, Paris.

Maher and Mahgoub have yet to comment on their alleged wedding.

Born on February 19, 1985, Maher began singing as a child by presenting songs by iconic singer Umm Kulthum.

She was discovered at the age of fifteen and enrolled at the Conservatory of Arabic Music to begin her singing career.

The acclaimed singer soon met composer Mohamed Diae, whom she eventually married and became the father of her son, Omar. She filed for divorce a year later.

She recorded her first song in 2006 and received the support of Egyptian music icon Ammar El Sherei, whom she considers to be her spiritual father.

In June 2021, Maher quit music following the death of her close-knit aunt and called off her engagement, but later on, she backtracked from her decision and presented her first concert in Al-Alamein on July 29, 2022.
