Production has begun on the second season of the live-action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s best-selling manga “One Piece”.
The streaming giant also confirmed the returns of Ilia Isorelys Paulino as Alvida, Jeff Ward as Buggy, and Michael Dorman as Gold Roger.
Based on the popular manga and anime series of the same name, “One Piece” follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a young pirate who searches the Blue Sea for the mythical One Piece treasure. If he can do it, he will become King of the Pirates.
Iñaki Godoy stars as Luffy. The cast also includes Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji.
The cast of villains also features the Baroque Works agents, with David Dastmalchian (Oppenheimer) starring as Mr. 3, Jazzara Jaslyn (Warrior) playing Miss Valentine, Camrus Johnson (Batwoman) portraying Mr. 5m, and Daniel Lasker (Raised By Wolves) as Mr. 9.
Additional cast members are McKinley Belcher III, Morgan Davies, Aidan Scott, Vincent Regan, Jeff Ward, Craig Fairbrass, Langley Kirkwood, Celeste Loots, Alexander Maniatis, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Chioma Umeala, and Steven Ward.
Callum Kerr (Monarch) has also been cast as Smoker, Julia Rehwald (Fear Street) as Tashigi, Rob Colletti (The Many Saints of Newark) as Wapol, and Ty Keogh (24 Hours To Live) as Dalton.

The series is created in partnership with Shueisha and produced by Tomorrow Studios, an ITV Studios partner, and Netflix.
Matt Owens and Steven Maeda serve as writers, executive producers, and showrunners on the series.
“One Piece’s” original creator Eiichiro Oda also serves as an executive producer along with Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements of Tomorrow Studios.
