President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is inaugurating today, Tuesday, the industrial city in Rubiky. This industrial city has 6 new factories for spinning and weaving.
The new industrial complex in Rubiky, in its first phase, includes 6 factories: a thin yarn factory, chunky yarn factory, 3 factories for manufacturing fabric and another one for dyeing and printing.
All these factories are equipped with the latest machines that were imported from the largest and most important international companies specialized in this field, to operate according to the latest systems and technology programs.
Preparations for this complex started in 2017 while implementation began in 2018 to finalize its first phase while working under precautionary measures due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus.
This project could provide 1350 direct job opportunities and 12,000 indirect job opportunities.
The factories cooperate with the armed forces and a number of ministries to produce thousands of tons per day. They aim at to exporting their products soon to abroad.
The Rubiky city aims to bring all leather tanneries, previously in Magra el-Oyoun, in one place to become an integrated city for leather, with the state bearing the cost of transferring.
