Ali El Haggar Reveals Final Hours in Ahmed El Haggar's Life

Veteran singer Ali El Haggar revealed the final hours in his brother's, composer Ahmed El Haggar, life, Al Ain reported on Friday.

El Haggar said that his brother wasn't ill, and he didn't pay any visits to doctors, adding that when he arrived at his brother's home and looked at his body, his face reflected serenity, calmness, and peace.

After that, the singer continued that the composer was watching a game and having a cup of tea, and nothing happened to bother him, asserting that he died in peace.

El Haggar concluded that his brother's death was a really tough experience, he was as a friend to him, not only a brother.

The composer passed away at the age of 65 due to a heart attack last January.

Born for music expert-parents, El Haggar was taught the basics of music writing and composition by his father, later on he joined the Higher Institute of Arabic Music.

He studied lute and piano playing, musical sheets, and eastern and western genres. The musician started his professional career at a young age, and his first composition was “O’zereni” which was performed by Ali El Haggar.

During his career, he introduced hundreds of successful compositions for Mohamed Fouad, Hesham Abbas, Angham, Anushka, and others.

He also set music for dozens of films and TV shows such as “Amrica Shika Bika,” “Khalty Safiyah Wa Al Dair,” and “Khoyout Al Shams.”

Moreover, he released four albums as a composer and singer such as “Haneen,” and his most popular hit was “Oud.”
