Ali El-Haggar, Carole Samaha to Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Cairo Opera House

Renowned Egyptian singer Ali El-Haggar and Lebanese singer Carole Samaha will be holding a concert celebrating Valentine’s Day at the Cairo Opera House on Tuesday and Wednesday 15th, 16 February, where they will be performing some of their love songs.

The concert is set to be held under the auspices of Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture.

Ali El-Haggar, 67, will be singing some of his most memorable hits as well as famous TV series themes accompanied by the orchestra of conductor Ahmed Atef.

El-Haggar has been one of the best-known singers in Egypt and the Arab world over the past four decades, often singing lyrics drawn from the poetry of Salah Jahin, Abdel-Rahman El-Abnoudy, and Sayed Hegab.

He has also collaborated with or performs to the music of some of the country's most renowned composers, such as Baligh Hamdy, Sayed Mekkawy, Omar Khairat, and Fathy Salama.

Among his most famous love repertoire is ‘Arfa’, ‘Men Gheer Ma Tetkallemy’, ‘Bahebek’, and ‘Tegiesh N’eish.’
