Renowned Egyptologist Ali Abu Dashish refuted false claims that the Great Pyramids of Giza were built by non-Egyptians.

In a statement issued on Monday, Abu Dashish noted that saying the construction of pyramids was done by non-Egyptians is baseless.

“Neither Africans nor Aliens built the pyramids because the tombs found close to pyramids contain details of their owners and their job description,” he affirmed.

His remarks came in response to comments made by actress Noha Amrousi about ancient Egypt's civilization on her official social media pages.

In the same context, he denied the British “Express” newspaper's allegations on the pyramid of Khufu.

Abu Dashish said that the newspaper claimed that the name of Khufu, which was discovered on the walls of the Great Pyramid, one of the seven ancient wonders of the world, was added in May 1837 AD, citing remarks by an Egyptologist named "Zakaria Sachin."

Last year, US comedian-turned-actor Kevin Hart said in a statement: “We must teach our children the true history of black Africans when they were kings in Egypt…”
