As part of its ongoing cultural and intellectual program, the Cairo Opera House, headed by Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam, will screen the third installment of the documentary series "The Immigrants: A Life’s Journey".
The event is organized under the supervision of Rasha El-Feqi, in collaboration with the National Egyptian Center for Cinema. The screening is scheduled for Monday, January 26, at 7:00 PM at the Sayed Darwish Theatre (Alexandria Opera House).
About the Film
Produced by the Egyptian-American Academy of Arts, Letters, and Humanities, the film is envisioned and directed by Dr. Safwat Youssef.
Theme: The documentary explores the lived realities of immigrants in the United States.
Focus: It captures the challenges faced during the journey of expatriation—balancing dreams and ambitions against the heavy price of being away from one's homeland—and traces the path toward achieving success and stability.
Post-Screening Discussion
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring the film's director, Dr. Safwat Youssef. The session will be moderated by film critic Ahmed Assar.
