Aladdin Tops Box Office for 2nd Week in Row

Aladdin, a musical fantasy movie, maintained the first spot in the worldwide box office with $65,1 million for the second week in a row.

The American movie, starring Mena Massoud, Naomi Scott, and Will Smith, is directed by Guy Ritchie, produced by Dan Lin, and written by John August.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters, which rocked theaters on May 31, came in the second position with $63 million.

The American science fiction film, starring Millie Bobby Brown as Madison Russell, Lexi Rabe as Alexandra Rachael Rabe, Sally Hawkins as Dr. Vivienne Graham, is directed by Michael Dougherty, written by Michael Dougherty, and Zach Shields, and produced by Thomas Tull, Brian Rogers, Mary Parent, and Alex Garcia.

The movie, which is a sequel to Godzilla 2014, is the third entry in the MonsterVerse, following its 2017 film Kong: Skull Island.

Rocketman, a musical movie, took third place with $36,4 million. The film, starring Richard Madden, Taron Egerton, and Bryce Dallas Howard, is directed by Dexter Fletcher and written by Lee Hall.

The musical movie, which is distributed by Paramount Pictures, based on the life of musician Elton John. It premiered at the Cannes Film Festiva on May 16, 2019.

While the fourth place went to Ma (2019) with $24,9 million. The American horror movie, starring Octavia Spencer, Luke Evans, and Juliette Lewis, is directed by Tate Taylor, written by Scotty Landes, and produced by Jason Blum, Tate Taylor, and John Norris.

John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum came in fifth position with $16,6 million. Two weeks ago, The American movie managed to end the three-week reign of Avengers: Endgame film in the first spot when it topped the box office with $76,6 million. The action movie, starring Keanu Reeves, Halle Berry, and Ian McShane, came in the second spot over the last week with $38 million.
