The Embassy of India in Cairo is pleased to announce a captivating Punjabi Folk Dance Performance to be held at the historic Al Ghuri Dome Palace, Cairo, on 31 October 2025 at 6:30 p.m.
The event will feature an energetic and colourful performance by the renowned Rangla Punjabi Dance Troupe, visiting Egypt to participate in the Ismailia International Folklore Festival.
Through their vibrant costumes, dynamic choreography, and spirited rhythms, the troupe will bring to life the rich folk traditions of India.
The evening will also include a special presentation of Kathak, one of India’s classical dance forms known for its grace, storytelling, and intricate footwork.
This cultural evening will be graced by the presence of the Hon’ble Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship of India, who will be in Egypt to represent India at the Inaugural Ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum.
The event aims to celebrate the enduring friendship and cultural exchange between India and Egypt, reflecting the shared joy, diversity, and harmony that folk traditions inspire.
