Al Anani Meets President of Italian Tourism Federation Companies

Upon his arrival at the Italian capital, Rome, to hold a series of meetings with a number of Italian tour operators, president of tourism federation and tourism companies in Italy, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Dr Khaled Al Anani began this visit with a meeting, Thursday afternoon, at the headquarters of the Egyptian Embassy in Rome, with Mr. Piere Zhya Astoi, President of the Federation of Italian Tourism Companies and Director of Albitor, and a number of leaders of the Federation and the company.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two countries in the field of tourism and push more tourist traffic to Egypt.

During the meeting, they emphasized the importance of the Italian tourist market for Egypt, and the remarkable increase in the tourist movement coming to Egypt from Italy, especially during the last period, and addressed the preparations for the summer season.

Moreover, they stressed the importance of the Egyptian tourist destination for Italian tourists, especially in light of their passion to visit many Egyptian tourist destinations and cities such as Sharm El Sheikh, Marsa Alam and Marsa Matrouh.

 

The minister and the Italian officials discussed enhancing means of cooperation between the two countries in the field of cultural tourism.

During the meeting, Dr. Khaled El-Anany indicated that Egypt has canceled all restrictions imposed on the entry of Egyptians and foreigners into Egypt, and also reviewed the efforts and measures undertaken by the Egyptian state to integrate various tourism products, especially the beach tourism product with the cultural tourism product.
