On Thursday, Dr. Khaled Al-Anani, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities expressed his great admiration and appreciation for the excavation workers.
In his speech before the parliament plenary session, Al-Anani said that excavation workers have impressed the world with their discoveries.
He added that the ministry has taken a number of steps that have contributed greatly to the development of archaeological areas, including the establishment of state-of-the-art cafeterias, like those ones in Giza Pyramids and other areas.
The minister emphasized that UNESCO chief Audrey Azoulay was 'astonished' when she saw developments that took place in the Pyramids area.
