Egyptian stars Akram Hosny and Aya Samaha's upcoming play "Matsaghronash" ("Don't Belittle Us") is set to be staged from March 22-24 at the Arabic Theater in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The cast also includes Bayoumi Fouad, Hamdy El Marghany, and more.
"Matsaghronash" hails from director Walid Talaat and marks the second collaboration between Hosny and Samaha after the 2025 social comedy TV series "El Captain".
The play is a heartfelt comedy of hope, acceptance, and family, a touching yet hilarious theatrical experience that blends comedy, drama, and profound life lessons.
The synopsis reads: "A family living with a rare genetic condition that causes them to be born with aged features yet pass away in infant bodies. Amid moments of bullying, resilience, and laughter, Sadiq embarks on a heartfelt quest in search of a cure—only to discover that true happiness may lie not in altering our genes, but in embracing who we truly are,".

Hosny, born on September 10, 1974, graduated from the Police Academy and started his life as a police officer, but soon made a big career shift and headed to the field of broadcasting.
He started his career as a TV and radio host at Nogoum FM radio station and made his first television appearance in “The 25th Hour News” program where he presented the comic character of “Sayed Aby Hafiza.”
Hosny satirically criticized the social, political, and economic conditions in Egypt. The program was a big hit and audiences were strongly attached to it.
