Tunisian actress Aïcha Ben Ahmed has recently joined the cast of Egyptian actor Asser Yassin's upcoming TV series "Alsaa 5" (Five O'clock).
The series consists of 15 episodes and is set to debut in the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon.
Ben Ahmed participated last Ramadan with the TV series “Mozakerat Zog”, starring Egyptian actor Tarek Lotfy.
It also starred Khaled El Sawy, Noha Abdeen, Edward, Samaa Ibrahem, and more.
Maryam Ahmady directed the project from a screenplay by Mohamed Suleiman.
“Mozakerat Zog” consisted of 15 episodes and was based on a novel by the late great writer Ahmed Bahgat.
Ben Ahmed, born on February 7, 1989, began her career through dancing in the Sihem Belkhodja group before studying graphic art and publicity at the Ecole d'Art et de Décoration in Tunis.
She made her acting career in 2010, taking a small part in Nada Mezni Hafaiedh's feature film "Histoires Tunisiennes".
In 2015, Ben Ahmed landed her first acting gig in Egypt in Raouf Abdel Aziz's TV series "Les Mille et Une Nuits".
She had been specially selected to play the role of Qamar Zamen, an amnesiac who tried to establish her identity.
