Egyptian actor Ahmed Zaher recently joined the cast of actress Mai Omar's new TV series "Neama Al Avocato".
The project once again reunites Omar with her husband, director Mohamed Sami.
Sami directs the series from a script by Mohab Tarek.
"Neama Al Avocato" is produced by Maha Selim and sees Omar portraying the role of a lawyer for the first time in her career.
The series consists of 15 episodes and begins filming on June 2.
"Neama Al Avocato" marks the second collaboration between Zaher and Omar after working together on the 2021 TV series "Lua Lua".
Zaher, born on April 27, 1975, joined the Faculty of Commerce but dropped out in the third year to join the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts.
He started his artistic career through a small scene in the 1993 TV series "Ze'ab Al-Gabal", while he is still studying in secondary school.
Zaher landed his first major role in the 1999 TV series "Al-Ragol Al-Akhar" and in the 2003 TV series "Al-Hakika w Al-Sarab".
