Egyptian actor Ahmed Zaher recently joined the cast of actor Hassan El Raddad's new TV series “Mohareb" (Warrior).
The cast also includes Maged El Masry, Mahmoud El-Bezzawy, Salwa Osman, Haggag Abdulazim, Nour Mahmoud, and more.
The series is scripted by Mohamed Sayed Bashir, directed by Sherry Adel, and produced by Ahmed El Sobky.
“Mohareb" sheds light on important social issues and reflects on the daily lives of the simple people of Egypt. It sees El Raddad playing Aziz Mohareb, a microbus driver of Upper Egypt origins, who is exposed to many challenges and problems.
“Mohareb" is set to screen during the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon.
Zaher is also planning to participate in the drama marathon with the TV series "Neama Al Avocato".
The project is produced by Maha Selim and once again reunites Mai Omar with her husband, director Mohamed Sami. Sami directed the series from a script by Mohab Tarek.
It marks the second collaboration between Zaher and Omar after working together on the 2021 TV series "Lua Lua".
"Neama Al Avocato" consists of 15 episodes and sees Omar portraying the role of a lawyer for the first time in her career.
Zaher, born on April 27, 1975, joined the Faculty of Commerce but dropped out in the third year to join the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts.
He started his artistic career through a small scene in the 1993 TV series "Ze'ab Al-Gabal", while he is still studying in secondary school.
Zaher landed his first major role in the 1999 TV series "Al-Ragol Al-Akhar" and in the 2003 TV series "Al-Hakika w Al-Sarab".
