Ahmed Saad Drops Teaser for Collab "Ya Layali" Ft. Ruby: Here’s When It Arrives

Ahmed Saad dropped Sunday on Instagram the teaser for his upcoming duet "Ya Layali" featuring Ruby.

The duet is filmed as a music video and is set to be released Tuesday at 06:00 PM.

"Ya Layali" marks Ruby's first music to be released in 3 months. 

The singer-actress was last seen in the TV series "Hadret El Omda" (Mayoress), which screened last Ramadan.

It also starred Samiha Ayoub, Basma, Mohamed Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Mahmoud Abdel-Moghni, Wafaa Amer, Edward, Mahmoud Hafez, Ehab Fahmy, Ahmed Badir, Salah Abdallah, Nahla Salama, Hossam Dagher, Sola Omar, Dina, and others.

Director Adel Adeeb is helming the series from a script by writer and journalist Ibrahim Eissa.

The series depicts a young woman assuming the position of mayor of her village and the challenges she faces.

Ruby

Rania Hussein Mohammed Tawfik, known as Ruby, rose to fame with her debut single “Enta Aref Leih” (Do You Know Why?) in 2003, which was directed by Sherif Sabri.

The music video for “Enta Aref Leih” was a hit on most satellite music channels in the Middle East during that summer.

In 2000, Ruby made her acting debut in the Egyptian film “Film Saqafi” (Cultural Film).

She is best known for her roles in TV productions such as “Shaqah 6” (2021), “Aho Da Elly Saar” (2019), “Ramadan Kareem” (2017), “Segn El-Nisaa” (2014), and “Bedoun Zikr Asma” (2013).

Her notable film credits include “Barra El Manhag” (2021), “Hamlet Pharaon” (2019), “El-Kenz: Al-Haqiqa wa Al-Khayaal” (2017), and “Yom Malosh Lazma” (2015), “El Haramy wel Abeet” (2013), “Al Hafla” (2013), “Al-Wa’ad” (2008), and “Skoot Hansawar” (2001).
