Egyptian stars Ahmed Mekky and Maged El Kedwany are set to reteam for a new film.
Directed by Ahmed El Gendy, the project marks the third collaboration between the duo after the comedy classics "Teer Enta" (2009) and "La Tarago Wala Isteslam" (2010).
The project witnesses Mekky's comeback to the big screen after ten years of absence. He made his last onscreen appearance in the 2018 film “Sameer Abu Elneel".
El Kedwany, meanwhile, made his last onscreen appearance in the 2025 film “Feha Eh Yaani”.
La Tarago Wala Isteslam
Mekky, born on June 19, 1980, began his career in showbiz as a short film director after graduating from the Institute of Cinema.
He has found success as a slapstick comedic actor with his roles in the 2008 film “H. Dabbour”, in 2009 film “Teer Enta”, the 2010 TV series “El Kabeer Awi”, and the 2010 film “La Tarago Wa La Esteslam”.
The 43-year-old star is also known for his performance in season 3 of the TV series "El Ekhteyar" (The Choice).
Along with his career as an actor, Mekky has also continued his stardom with writing and performing rap songs, which he performed in his films or uploaded online.
