Ahmed Helmy to Star in Film "Hadoota"

Egyptian actor Ahmed Helmy has signed on to star in the film "Hadoota."

The cast also includes Maged El Masry, Rahma Ahmed, and more.

Mazen Ashraf directs the pic from a script by Ahmed Abdalrahman‎. Principal photography launches after Eid al-Fitr holidays.

Helmy made his last onscreen appearance in the 2022 film “Wahed Tani”.

It also starred Amr Abdel Gelil, Ruby, Nesreen Amin, Ahmed Malek, Nour Ehab, Sayed Ragab, and more.

Written by Haitham Dabbour and directed by Mohamed Shaker Khodeir, "Wahed Tani" follows Mustafa, who works in the rehabilitation of prisoners, is trying to fight himself, who has begun to love apathy and monotony, he undergoes a long journey to discover that he is actually fighting himself.

Helmy, born on November 18, 1969, started his career in 1993 on the Egyptian Satellite Broadcast.

He made his acting debut in the 1998 acclaimed film “Aboud Ala El Hodoud” (Aboud on the Borders), co-starring with Alaa Waley El Din, and Karim Abdel Aziz.

Thereafter, Helmy quickly made a jump to leading roles in films such as “Omar 2000”, “El Nazer” (2000), “El Selem We Al Tho’ban” (2001), and "Sahar El Layali" (2003).
