The official poster for Egyptian actor Ahmed Hatem's new film “Al-Molhed” (The Atheist) has been released.
The film boasts a cast that includes Hussein Fahmy, Mahmoud Hemida, Sabrien, Shereen Reda, Tara Emad, Naglaa Badr, Ahmed al-Selkawy, and more.
Mohamed El Adl directed the pic from a script by Ibrahim Issa.
The film focuses on religious extremism, atheism, and young adults turning away from religion.
"Al-Molhed" will hit theatres on August 14.
Hatem was last seen in the film "Hassan Al Masry".
The cast also includes Diamand Bou Abboud, Lina Ben Hamman, Mourad Makram, Feriel Graja, and others.
It is helmed by Lebanese director Samir Habashi from a script by Samar Taher and story by Nora Labib.
The action film premiered on October 4 and featured Hatem portraying Hassan, an Egyptian-born citizen living in Lebanon, who suffers an accident and finds aid from Joel (Diamand Bou Abboud), an old flame and owner of a security company.
Hatem, born on December 25, 1987, made his acting debut in the 2006 film "Awqat Faragh".
