Egyptian actor and screenwriter Ahmed Fahmy is preparing for a new TV series, which he plans to participate in during the Ramadan 2027 drama marathon.
The project hails from director Kareem Saad and scriptwriter Sherif Elleissy. Synergy production company is the banner behind the drama.
Fahmy made his last participation in the drama marathon with the 2023 TV series “Gat Salema” and the 2023 TV series "Sero Batea."
Fahmy, born on November 6, 1980, began his acting career during his college years through an independent film group, "Tamr Hendy".
The banner produced many satirical films, among the most famous "Regal la Ta3rif Elmostaheel" a parody of the Egyptian movie "Eltareeq Ila Ilat," which quickly spread on the internet and was screened in many local cafes.
The parody had drawn the interest of writer Mohamed Hefzy, who was making the transition into movie production.
After meeting with Fahmy, Hefzy decided to produce "Affiche we Tashbeeh," a TV series that made fun of various Egyptian films in each episode.
Hefzy teamed up with Fahmy on the film "Waraqit Shafra," which Fahmy wrote and starred in, along with his Tamr Hendy co-stars and long-time friends Hisham Maged and Chico. The trio won the Critics Choice Award in 2003 for Best New Actors.
Fahmy is also known for writing the script of "Keda Reda," starring Ahmed Helmy, as well as "Sameer, Shaheer, & Baheer," in which the Tamr Hendy trio co-starred.
