Egyptian actor Ahmed Elawady has signed on to star in the TV series "El Ostaz".
The drama consists of 10 episodes and marks Elawady's streaming debut.
"El Ostaz" reunites Elawady with Yara El Sokkary and scriptwriter Mahmoud Hamdan.
The trio collaborated last Ramadan on the star-studded TV series "Ali Clay".
Principal photography is set to commence in July.

Moreover, Elawady is planning to participate in the Ramadan 2027 drama marathon with the TV series "Sultan El Deeb".
The project also marks another collaboration between Elawady, director Mohamed Abdel Salam, and scriptwriter Mahmoud Hamdan after "Ali Clay".

The cast also starred Dorra, Mahmoud El Bezzawy, Mohamed Tharwat, Omar Rozik, Essam El Sakka, Entsar, Reem Samy, and more.
"Ali Clay” follows a powerful boxer who makes his way in the world of the ring, where his battles are not limited to sports competitions only, but extend to his personal life.
Elawady was born on December 12, 1985 in Cairo, Egypt. He is best known for his roles in The Thief of Baghdad, Mousa, and Horob Edterary. Elawady was discovered by actor Nour El-Sherif.
