Egyptian actor Ahmed El Sakka's upcoming TV series for the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon has received a title.
The series is set to be filmed under the title "El Atawla".
The project hails from director Ahmed Khaled Mousa and also stars Mai Kassab and Tarek Lotfy.
"El Atawla" marks the first collaboration between El Sakka and Lotfy in 20 years. They previously collaborated on films "Ean Aleashq Walhuaa" (2006), and "Saeidi Fil Gameaa Al Amerikeya" (1998).
El Sakka participated last Ramadan with the TV series "Harb".
The series consists of 10 episodes and is helmed by Ahmed Nader Galal.
"Harb" reunites El Sakka with Mohamed Farag after previously collaborating in the 2017 TV series "Alhisan al'aswad" and the 2012 film "Al-Maslaha".
El Sakka, born on March 1, 1973, is an Egyptian actor. He graduated from the Academy of Arts.
He began his acting career with appearances in Egyptian mini-series and ended up co-starring in many famed Ramadan series.
Early in his career, El Sakka appeared in popular series such as “Nesf Rabeea El-Akhar”, "Nsf rbye alakhar", "Wamin Aldhy la Yuhibu Fatma?", "Tarwid alsharisa", "Helm El Ganouby", and "Zayzinia S1".
He established himself as an actor in 1998 when he co-starred in the film “Saeedi Fil Gamaa El Amrekeia” (Saeedi in the American University).
In 2000, the actor received his first leading film role in “Short wi Fanila wi Cap” (Short, T-Shirt and Cap).
