Ahmed El Sakka Involved in Scary Car Crash

Egyptian actor Ahmed El Sakka was recently involved in a serious car accident on the “Cairo – Alexandria” desert road.

The accident occurred on Saturday when he was heading to Alexandria to attend a theatrical performance. The vehicle collided with a concrete barrier on the road, leading the car to crash, and left him suffering a broken rib and bruises in various parts of his body. Photos of the crash scene show that the significant damage is at the front end.

He was transferred to a hospital in Giza for treatment and has since returned home.

El Sakka took to Facebook to update his fans on his current condition, writing: “And out of adversity comes blessing, and God has given me abundant love. A million thanks to everyone who checked up on me. I am fine and I will resume work tomorrow.”

He concluded the post by extending his gratitude for all those who expressed their sincere good thoughts and well wishes.

Born on March 1, 1973, El Sakka graduated from the Academy of Arts and began his acting career with appearances in Egyptian mini-series, and ended up co-starring in many famed Ramadan series.

Early in his career, El Sakka appeared in popular series such as “Nesf Rabeea El-Akhar”, "Nsf Rbye Alakhar", "Wamin Aldhy la Yuhibu Fatma?", "Tarwid Alsharisa", "Helm El Ganouby", and "Zayzinia S1".

He established himself as an actor in 1998 when he co-starred in the film “Saeedi Fil Gamaa El Amrekeia” (Saeedi in the American University).

In 2000, the actor received his first leading film role in “Short wi Fanila wi Cap” (Short, T-Shirt and Cap).
