Ahmed El Saadany, Mayan El Sayed, and Omar Rozik have signed on to star in the romance film "Wa Lana Fel Khayal Hob".
The film is scripted and directed by Sarah Zreik, in her first feature project, and follows an introverted university professor whose life is invaded by a female student, leading him to get entangled in her romantic life and forcing him to confront himself.
"Wa Lana Fel Khayal Hob" is set to debut sometime later in 2024.
El Saadany, born on July 16, 1979, is the son of veteran actor, Salah El Saadany, who provided him with his first opportunity to act alongside him in the popular television series "Layaly El Helmia S 5" in 1995.
He later appeared alongside his father in the 2002 TV series “A Man In The Time Of Globalization”, which highlighted his acting talents.
Afterward, El Saadany confined to televised roles such as "Who fired the Shot at Hind Allam?", and "Words of Truth". He was given his first role on the big screen in the 2007 film “Morgan Ahmed Morgan” starring Adel Emam.
